10 Days (Comfort Safari)
This is an example of our basic safari that takes you to Kenya’s finest parks while providing comfortable accommodations, great game drives, and private ground travel at most affordable prices.

Days 1-2: United States – Arrive Nairobi
Welcome! Late evening arrival of your international flight. Our representative will meet you outside the customs hall and take you to your hotel.

Day 3: Nairobi to Aberdares
After an early morning breakfast meeting with our representative who will brief you on your Kenya Safari, we drive via private vehicle to Aberdares National Park. After lunch we transfer by lodge vehicle to lodge. All night game viewing is from the terrace overlooking the illuminated saltlick water hole.

Day 4-5: Aberdares to Samburu
You will love this reserve for it is here that you will see unique animals such as the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, the blue necked Somali Ostrich and the Gerenuk…the Little 5 of Samburu plus leopard and cheetah...and more!
Arrival and check-in will be followed by lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drive. We shall spend another night here with both an early morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 6: Samburu to Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast for a leisurely drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, situated in the Great Rift Valley. It is the world famous home for Pink Flamingos who feed in a shallow alkaline lake. It has been estimated that almost one million Flamingos reside here. The park became Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and is today home to both the White and Black Rhinos. Lions, Leopards, Hippos, Giraffes and Waterbucks are equally at home in this unique park. We will stop at Thomson’s Falls for lunch. After arrival at Lake Nakuru, we will embark on a game drive.

Day 7-8: Lake Nakuru/Masai Mara
After a morning game ride and breakfast, we proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. Contiguous with the plains of the Serengeti, the Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. The Mara has been called the Kingdom of Lions and these regal and powerful hunters dominate these grasslands. The Masai Mara is the highlight of any Kenya safari.

Check-in at the Mara Fig Tree Camp and enjoy an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. On the second day, you will have 3 game drives starting at sunrise, mid-morning and followed by late afternoon.

Day 9: Masai Mara to Nairobi (5h)
After breakfast, we return to Nairobi with lunch at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant. In Nairobi, you have time for shopping or the option of a day room at the Hilton to rest and freshen up for your return flight home. An African Quest representative will take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight and our farewells.

Day 10:
Arrive in the United States after looking at those digital pictures and dreaming of your Kenya Safari all night!
