Published Rates Since most of our safaris are custom-made, our rate schedules are limited to the few examples shown. These prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Not Included Safari and Beyond does not include International airfares in its costs to you since our safaris are custom-made and private, not pre-scheduled tours. If you wish, we can arrange your international travel for a modest fee. The following items are also not included: Visas, porterage, tips to guides, hotel staff and others, all visits and other personal expenses not indicated in the program, and travel and medical insurance.

Internal Air transportation Indicated flight times and costs are subject to change without prior notice.

Registration and Payment Schedule A deposit of 20% per person is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Reservations made and accepted within 90 days of departure must be paid in full.

Cancellations Cancellations for safaris received by Safari and Beyond 90 days or more prior to departure will be subject to a $250 per person penalty. Cancellations received 60-89 days prior to departure are subject to a penalty of 20%; 30-59 days prior to departure will be penalized 50% and cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to 100% of the program price. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. In certain countries, camps, lodges and hotels may have different cancellation policies which we will honor.

Luggage Guests are encouraged to travel with one medium soft bag or suitcase and one carry-on bag. Strict luggage restrictions are in effect with certain airlines within Africa. Luggage, personal bags and contents are at owner’s risk.

Responsibility Safari and Beyond, LLC, its employees, shareholders, officers collectively does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, transportation companies and ground tour operators. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Safari and Beyond, LLC is not responsible for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or of any third person.

In addition and without limitation, Safari and Beyond, LLC is not responsible for any injury or death, loss, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or any other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or changing of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

It is the responsibility of The Traveler to become informed about the most current Travel Advisories by referring to the United States travel web at www.travel.state.gov. In the event of an active State department travel warning against travel to a specific destination location(s) of the trip, should the Traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, the Traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions to the responsibility Clause or any information relating in any way to the trip or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in New York City, New York in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then existent.

Payment of program price constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions set out herein and in more specific pre-departure passenger information including the reservation confirmation itinerary.
